The owner, Mr Wolfgang Burre, is one of the founding fathers of Botswana’s photographic safaris. Together with the staff of Xakanaxa Camp he has endeavored to maintain the classic safari charm that makes any journey to Xakanaxa a memorable one. As one of the very first lodges to be established in the Okavango Delta, this small and personal safari camp is still one of the Okavango favorites due to its superb location, fantastic game viewing, friendly service and authentic safari style.
The Moremi Reserve is rated as one of Africa’s finest game-viewing areas, offering sanctuary to abundant herds of elephant, sable, giraffe, tsessebe, lechwe, wildebeest, impala and waterbuck.
